Founder & CEO
Dak Gilinsky
Dak is motivated by a desire to help. DCG exists to help clients solve their toughest accounting and finance problems (interim roles, surge support needs, and projects), and to help our employees and consultants live a better, brighter, more joyful life at work and beyond.
Dak initially planned to become a bioethics lawyer, but stumbled into consulting in his first role after graduating from UC Berkeley and was immediately hooked. The chance to work with clients to solve their most difficult intellectual problems is addicting, and the ability to help people reach their career goals is endlessly exciting.
Our founder has helped 300+ companies of all sizes, from fortune 10 through small private entities, through 500+ engagements across all industries over 16+ years. He has worked with and built some of the best teams in the consulting space at firms like Axiom, Business Talent Group, and DLC, and now brings all of that experience, creativity, joy, and care to his work with DCG clients.
Dak is based in Studio City (Los Angeles) California and spends his time outside of work hanging out with his wife Rena and/or hiking, lifting weights, and generally trying to stay fit enough to keep up with his two young sons Rowe and Runi.
